Through the 5 in 1 Connection Kit, it's incredibly easy to download photos from your digital camera to your iPad. It gives you two ways to import photos and videos. One is using USB cable, another one is reading from SD/Micro SD card directly. The Connection Kit supports standard photo formats, such as JPEG and RAW etc. Besides, it supports PC keyboard input as well as imports photos from USB flash disk to iPad.
Version: Compatible with IOS 4.2.1.
Advantage: Connect to iPad data port directly, no software installation
Disadvantage: With no guarantee that all functions normally work when IOS updates new version. Does not display flash drives as an extra external hard drive
How to use 5 different ports :
1. USB port: Plug the connection into the dock connector port on your iPad, and then attach your digital camera or iPhone (excluded iPhone3G) via an USB cable. Or import photos to iPad through USB flash disk. Besides, the USB port supports external PC keyboard input. **** Note: USB Flash drive must be less then 4GB ****
2. SD card port: Plug the connection into the dock connector port on your iPad, and then insert your SD card.
3. Micro SD card port: Plug the connection into the dock connector port on your iPad, and then insert your Micro SD card
After plug in the connection, your iPad automatically opens the Photos APP, which lets you choose photos to import, then organizes the selected photos into albums. When sync iPad to your PC or Mac, the photos in your iPad are added to your computer's image library.
The 5 in 1 Connection Kit supports standard photo formats, such as JPEG and RAW etc. The picture files need to be saved in named “DCIM” folder. The digital camera can create “DCIM” folder automatically, but if USB flash disk, you must create “DCIM” folder and copy manually.
Note:The 5 in 1 Connection Kit has 3 ports. USB port, SD port, Micro SD port can be chosen only one of them when attaching an external device.

Great tool to use instead of using a computer.

Awesome convenience in that I don't need my laptop anymore.
One problem I had is that one picture transferred badly and the bottom got cut off. I think I jiggled the device during the transfer. Unfortunately, it reported no errors, so I deleted the pictures on the card and lost that picture forever. I guess there is no error correction built in.

I was a bit sceptical at first due to me having an issue with where the store was located at. I was finally able to get ahold of someone and I was able to have my product sent to me.. I fell in love with it. It works perfect. Whoever thought of this was a geniuss!!!

This product took a while to ship (7 days) which was a little frustrating but it works well and I'm very happy with it.
