Just got the Octopod in the mail and attached it to my DXG hd camcorder. Works great and I think i will have several years of use out if it. I would reccommend it to anyone who needs help with a steady hand when filming.

the octo pod is awesome. small, light weight and can be twisted into and around any shape for cool and unusual photo shots.
i can't wait till all my friends see the octo pod. i know they will all want one.

Great for Group Shots

Very flexible and attachs to all kinds of surfaces. Is great for group shots - the photograher can acutally get in the picture!
GREAT for small/pocket cameras (ie: CANON Elph series)not so good for larger cameras (ie: DSLR's) as it doesnt' support the weight of the camera.

I bought this for my husband who is a serious gadget guy. It works great. Unfortunately it doesn't hold a really large camera and I do wish it was a bit bigger (but thats us being camera freaks) but our daughter loves it. It will stand anywhere. It definitely is versatile in that regard. Can't wait to see what it will do over the summer.

This product is great and very universal. The best tripod for a camera that I have seen. Perfect for the hiking trips I take by myself.
